Jewelry Care

General maintenance

Wrap bracelets should never be worn in water or exposed to water. Use caution and avoid exposure to perfumes, hair products, lotions, soaps, oils and household chemicals. Always remove your jewelry before exercising or cleaning it.

Fine silver

Sterling silver can be cleaned using a sterling silver polishing cloth. Avoid chlorinated water and rubbing with paper products, which can scratch silver. Store pieces in a cool, dry place, away from light and air, to avoid excessive tarnishing. We recommend using liquid jewelry cleaner specific to sterling silver. For pieces containing stones, pearls and crystals, we recommend using only the polishing cloth, as the liquid may damage some stones.

Gold plated sterling silver

Always separate your jewelry from others to avoid scratches and remove it before showering or cleaning it. Polish delicately using a polishing cloth specific to yellow gold.

Care of Plated Jewelry

Due to the nature of plated jewelry, we suggest you follow the following tips to care for your jewelry.

Scented products such as perfumes, colognes, and lotions contain chemicals that can react with the plating and discolor the jewelry. Body chemistry and humidity can also affect plated jewelry - high skin PH significantly accelerates the wear of plated jewelry.

Plated jewelry should never be worn during activities involving water, such as showering or pool or beach activities, as chlorine and salt water affect the plating. When removing jewelry for these purposes, be sure to store it in a dry place. Rubbing or contact with a hard surface may cause scratches or wear to the jewelry.

If necessary, use warm water with a mild, fragrance-free soap to clean plated items. Dry them by gently patting them dry with a clean cotton or microfiber cloth. Most jewelry cleaners contain chemicals that slowly wear away and discolor the plating over time.

By following these steps, you will ensure the longevity of your jewelry!
